Directions

    Add the specified amount of water to a pot, bring to heat, and dissolve the miso soup base.

    Add pork, carrot, and shimeji mushrooms. Simmer on medium heat for .

    Add the noodles and loosen them. Add the naga-negi and mochi. Simmer on medium-low heat for the time indicated on the package.

    Once the noodles have loosened, crack the eggs into the center. Cover with a lid and cook for until the eggs are soft-set.

Notes & Tips

Sprinkle shichimi togarashi (seven-spice powder) for extra flavor. Serve straight from the pot for a piping hot meal.
